Here is some basic information to get you started
Consultation
I offer a free 15-minute consultation (either on the phone or in my office), so we can get a sense of whether we have a good match.
Confidentiality
Your privacy is important to me and is protected by Federal and Michigan law as well as the Ethical Principles of Psychologists.
Rates
These will be discussed during the initial appointment. Following the initial evaluation, rates are based on length of session (typically 45-60 minutes).
Insurance
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance usually under “mental health” or “behavioral” services. Every policy is different. Please call your insurance provider to determine your coverage.
Payment
Cash, Credit Card or check accepted for payment at the time of service. If you have insurance, co-payments will be collected each session.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not attend your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
Please complete all paperwork at least 48 hours before your appointment to keep your scheduled time. Email Dr. Betman at [email protected] for a link to complete all necessary forms online from a computer, tablet or cell phone.
